About Us

Why a website about TBI?

As a brain injury survivor, part of dealing with my brain injury has been learning as much as possible about it, understanding how the brain works and what happens when it's injured. Another part has been learning what can be done about it, what can't be done, types of treatment, rehabilitation and relearning, medications and alternatives, workarounds for deficits, the millions of feelings around brain injury, social changes, family and friends, and learning new ways of dealing with life.

The Internet is a tremendously rich resource, and this site is the result of some of the resources I've found and continue to find along the way. I'll continue to update it with new information as time allows. Suggestions are welcome, too.
